Did republicans really WIN anything, with this election?
Republicans MUST have won something because this little election is EVERYWHERE. On every web site, on every TV, and on every radio show.
So, it MUST mean something (to someone)..??
When I look at all the Left wing sites, they are ignoring the governor races that they lost, and focusing on a little district in NY State.
“..See, See..” the left is saying.
“..The candidate that Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck endorsed LOST. Doug Hoffman LOST- big time..!!”
This is the stuff that the Left is talking about.
(Beck didn’t actually endorse Hoffman, but we will continue.)
However, things are not much better on the Right side...
I hear my Right wing friends say:
“...Well, Hoffman was a virtual ‘unknown’ just a few months ago. Look at how close he came to winning. Those idiots in the GOP picking Scozzafava is what screwed us up. Besides, look at how much republicans won elsewhere. Virginia and New Jersey Governorships..!! Woo Hoo..!!”
Let’s be honest, nothing NEW was learned here, with this election. (By us, the people reading this editorial.)
The only thing that happened was our beliefs were reenforced.
The other people who do not stay informed, or people who were wearing rose- colored glasses; they may have learned a few things today.
Let’s review the things that “we” already knew, but “others” may not have known. (Or “choose” not to recognize.)
(One) President Obama’s power is slipping away. If Obama still had the power that he once had, republicans would have won nothing. But, because people are still waiting for “hope and change”, democrats are losing these races. And democrats will continue to lose races in 2010. Unless, Obama’s “hope and change” is realized.
(Two) The top brass in the GOP have no idea what they are doing. Folks like Michael Steele and Newt Gingrich seem lost today.
(Three) People are not really worried about health care. They are worried about JOBS and the economy. Democrats do not understand this. Democrats are lost and out of touch.
(Four) Just calling yourself a “conservative”, doesn’t mean that you are going to win an election. We all hear conservative “talk stars” make the comment: “Every time the republicans run with conservative candidates, they win.”
Well, that’s not true. If it were true, we would be talking about PRESIDENT Barry Goldwater. If that were true, the 2008 republican primary would have been a neck and neck race between Fred Thompson, Mitt Romney, and Ron Paul.
It wasn’t.
More than just being “conservative”, you have to have a personality that attracts people. Doug Hoffman didn’t have this quality. Barry Goldwater (in 1964) didn’t have this quality. President Reagan did. President Reagan was able to bring NEW people to our party.
So, really, this election didn’t provide anything new, to what “we” already knew.
It did, however, uncover a few PROBLEMS... (Problems, again, that we already knew about.)
Republicans STILL do not have a national leader and there are rumblings of a “party- split.”
This problem, I do not really worry about. Republicans do not NEED a national leader at this point. We can win on local levels and state levels just by running against the BIG government programs that democrats are pushing. “Cap and Trade” and “Health Care” are the democrats downfall. People do not want these programs. They want smaller “fixes” that actually help. NOT big government programs.
Besides, why stick a republican leader out there now? Why place a person out in public to describe their ideas, only to allow the democrats 3 years to beat and blast those ideas away with “Chicago style politics”? That’s stupid..!!
It is better to fight on a local level, and let Rush, Beck, and Hannity pick away at the democrat leadership on a national level.
As far as a republican party split (between moderate republicans and conservatives)...
This doesn’t worry me much. (It’s too early to worry.)
Here is what we can all agree on, both conservatives and moderate republicans can all agree: the direction that President Obama is taking is WRONG for America.
That is all that we need, right now, to keep us together.
Don’t let the mainstream media and liberals pull you into an argument that republicans have BIG problems.
There is no REAL problem.
Moderate republicans and conservatives ALL AGREE: the direction that Obama is taking is wrong.
This will keep us together.
From now, until the 2010 elections, we will work together to win more seats in both Houses, and win over more Governor races.
Then, in 2011, if we do not like the presidential candidates that the GOP is pushing, we will have to make some serious choices. But, today, it is FAR too early to talk about a split.
There is strength in numbers.
At this point in time; the people who call themselves conservative, along with the people who vote republican, along with the people who are independent and feel that President Obama isn’t doing very well, FAR out number those loyal to Obama.
People are losing “hope” and faith that things WILL ever change.
Barack Obama promised so much, that he can never deliver on any of it.
Democrats in the senate have pushed back the health care bill until next year. We are still at war. There are no serious “war crimes” trials. Gay people are no better off today, than they were 2 years ago. And the economy is not getting much better.
These are things that liberals and progressives care about, and nothing is getting done.
Democrats have REAL problems.
However, democrats may have learned a valuable lesson:
It is MUCH easier to stand on the sidelines and bitch about a republican president, then it is to actually lead America.
A very tough lesson to learn, indeed.

Former President Bush and President Clinton will debate each other this February 25 (2010) at Radio City Music Hall. This debate is part of a series that places conservatives and liberals together in a program called: “Minds that move the world.”
For more info, check out this web site below. And you can even suggest a question for Bush / Clinton to debate.
(Hat tip to The Huffington Post for bringing this to my attention.)
Is anyone else blown away by the TV show- “V”, and it’s similar aspects to President Obama..??
I mean it is so blatant. The “Visitors” come to earth offering “free health care” to us poor humans.
The leader of the Visitors will only take questions from reporters that will make the Visitors “look good.”
When a reporter claims: “That’s not how it works, I have to ask tough questions to be fair..” The Alien Visitor says: “Then this interview is over and you will be cut out from ever interviewing a Visitor again.”
Man, I almost fell out of my chair, when I heard that. That is president Obama and Fox News.
Just the fact that the lizard alien visitors are offering “free health care” is too much..!!
Yes indeed, things are a changing.

You think that this last 8 years was a long period FOR YOU..??
It was a freaking nightmare for me..!!
It was a nightmare for me because I read your editorials and your blog posts, and I began to believe that half of the people in this country hated America. By reading your thoughts, it sounded like democrats want to tear this country down and start over. (Like you folks had lost your minds.)
Some went as far as saying that they hated America and wanted to leave.
But that has all changed. Yesterday, I watched as millions of Americans got themselves "happy" again.
I am happy to see that you are happy, again.

However, the conservative inside of me has to ask: Obama hasn’t done anything yet. What are you happy about?
Are you imagining what President Obama MIGHT do, and that makes you happy..??
Or are you just happy that President Bush has left the building..??

Either way, I guess I can understand it.
However, why would you let "one person" effect your "happiness" about your country..??
Every person who has lived through 4 or 5 decades can recite several GREAT presidents and a couple of terrible ones. (Does it really matter which party they are affiliated with..??)

Good presidents transcend any one political party. Bad presidents redefine their political party. (Or FORCE the redefinition of.)
Since you are going to see your fair share of good and bad presidents, why would you ever let one president shape your opinion of this country?
I know that my statement above begs for someone to write back: "we liberals never hated America, we hated Bush.."
Yes, I believe that to be true.
However, I can go back into your blog sites and point to past posts in which you accused the American military of targeting innocent people.
Now, you freaking know that the American military doesn’t target innocent people for the hell of it. You know that..!! We spend a million dollars on ONE BOMB that can be remotely flown into it’s target just so that we do not hit innocent people.
You accused Sarah Palin of not giving birth to her child and you claimed that Sarah wanted to burn library books.
You built countless conspiracy theories on how hundreds of US officials (covered up) and killed it’s own people during 9/11.
You told small children that the president of the United States is a "War Criminal", when no charges of war crimes have been proven in a court of law and Americans- (all Americans) are innocent until proven guilty.

Do you really think that all of this "stuff" that you created in your mind, got Barack Obama elected..??
(If you do, than you might as well stop reading this editorial, because you will never comprehend what I am saying.)

Barack Obama didn’t win this election because people believed the lies that were told about Bush.
Obama didn’t win this election because you were able to "boo" President Bush during his speech.
Obama won the 2008 election because he is a gifted writer and speaker.
Obama won because America was ready for him. America was ready for change.
Obama won because President Bush was never able to communicate why he needed to do, (what it was that he was doing.) Yes, Bush kept us safe from another attack on our soil. But Bush never could explain why we needed waterboarding, or Gitmo, or warrantless wiretaps.

In the end, Obama won because he did a better job of campaigning than John McCain and Sarah Palin. (Yes, I left out Joe Biden on purpose.)
None of the lies, or the conspiracy theories got Obama elected.
The only thing that this "crap" did, was create a DEEP divide between you and me.
Why do you want to "divide" the country..??
On that note, I want to repeat the title of this editorial and say; I am happy that liberals are happy again.
I would love to show you how you can oppose a political party WITHOUT condemning America, or the military as a whole.
The last thing that I want to do is cause some young mind to think that the whole country is going to hell because President Obama did something that I didn’t like.
One person doesn’t have that kind of power, in America.
Because we have freedom, (and we have guns.)
One person cannot destroy this nation..!!
Anything that a bad president does, can be "undone" later on.
We lived through Nixon. He was a crook, but he didn’t destroy the country.
We lived through Clinton. He was a liar, but he didn’t destroy the country.

We lived through Bush. He took liberties with the constitution to go after terrorists. He didn’t watch the economy like he should have. But he didn’t destroy America. We are still here.

We are still here and we will be here after President Obama has left the building.
Everyone wants their "political party" to be in charge. It makes us feel safe. (For some people, I think it is more of a game, like football; trying to get your team to win.)
But you have to admit, none of the "bash Bush" stuff won this election.
Democrats won this election because Barack Obama was the first good candidate that the democrats have run in 10 years. John Kerry had no appeal and Al Gore was a bore.
Obama won because he inspires hope in many people. I have to give him that.
So, in conclusion, I will leave this editorial with some words from President Obama..
(I have altered this passage slightly.)
"...If you liberals want to unclinch your Bush bashing, Bush hating fists for a minute; I am reaching out my hand to shake yours..."

There is much I do not like about Obama’s policies. However, President Bush did some things I am not too happy over...
Time will tell.
I, along with hundreds of conservatives, will keep a watchful eye on President Obama. (I am hopeful that we do not turn into a "mirror image" of what liberals did to President Bush.)
OK, with that said; here is my favorite section of President Obama’s speech:
"...We will not apologize for our way of life, nor will we waver in its defense, and for those who seek to advance their aims by inducing terror and slaughtering innocents, we say to you now that our spirit is stronger and cannot be broken; you cannot outlast us, and we will defeat you.
For we know that our patchwork heritage is a strength, not a weakness. We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus — and non-believers. We are shaped by every language and culture, drawn from every end of this Earth; and because we have tasted the bitter swill of civil war and segregation, and emerged from that dark chapter stronger and more united, we cannot help but believe that the old hatreds shall someday pass; that the lines of tribe shall soon dissolve; that as the world grows smaller, our common humanity shall reveal itself; and that America must play its role in ushering in a new era of peace.
To the Muslim world, we seek a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect. To those leaders around the globe who seek to sow conflict, or blame their society's ills on the West — know that your people will judge you on what you can build, not what you destroy. To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history; but that we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist..."
If you would like to read President Obama’s speech:
http://news.aol.com/main/inauguration/article/text-of-obama-inaugural-address/312186

Democrats and liberals everywhere are worried if Barack Obama has enough toilets for the inauguration.

Matter of fact, a professor of law at George Washington University warns that Obama could be sued over toilets. (The lack of enough toilets.)

It was only 7 years ago that we were worried about terrorists flying planes into our buildings and killing innocent people.
Just a few months ago, we were worried about the economy, and that we might head into a great depression.
However, today- that has all changed.

Democrats are (almost) in the White House, and we are worried about toilets.
Hey: Toilets are important..!!
So, I want to ask you…
How many toilets should Obama have?
5,000 are fine
20,000 toilets
100,000 toilets
300 billion toilets- one for everyone
Since all of the "BIG" issues like the War, the economy, and stuff like that are solved (or at least- tucked away somewhere), why not talk about toilets..??
I voted for 5,000 toilets because I know that Obama has researched this and I am sure that Obama has given toilets much thought.

Besides, why should we worried about the BIG issues, look at who Obama has selected to lead us forward:
Leon Panetta, who has never worked in the CIA, or been an agent, is going to be the top CIA boss.
(What could go wrong here..??)

Tim Geithner, (who didn’t know that he needed to pay his taxes) will head up the US Treasury Department. Geithner, who helped cut restrictions on banking which helped Citi Group go on a risky loan spree, which caused Citi Group’s demise. Geithner will now helm US taxes and banking.
(Really, people; you are in good hands..!!)

Hillary Clinton: who’s husband takes money from friends, enemies, and just about ANYONE who will deliver millions to the Clinton library. Hillary will run the State Department.
(So, I ask you again: "What could go wrong..??")
I think I now understand why liberals are talking about toilets.

For those of you who believe that LOUD rock music is torture...
Those who believe that pouring a bucket of water on the enemy's head is evil...
If you believe that President Bush is a "War Criminal" for allowing LOUD rock music and water poured on terrorist's head, I got GREAT news for you..!!
We are now giving terrorists- DRUGS, instead.

Yes, you read that correctly.
The US military is now giving tribesman in Afghanistan DRUGS to make them talk and work with us.
This has got to be GREAT news to liberals and libertarians alike..!!

(Ok, maybe not all liberals.)
One of the cornerstones of liberalism and libertarianism is that if drugs were legal, we would have less crime and suffer less costs in fighting crime. (I will get into this in a moment.)
As the old saying goes:
"You attract more flies with sticky, gooey- cream filled donuts, then you do with an old sock that smells like vinegar."
Instead of placing female panties on the heads of the enemy, (which has been deemed "torture" by the left) we are now giving Afghan tribesman- Viagra.

It makes sense and this should please the democrats in America, who felt that loud rock music was torture.
Liberals are all about giving away free condoms, birth control pills, and Viagra.
So, this is GREAT news. We switch from waterboarding to Drugs.
Hence- no more "torture."
Even today (Sun Dec 28)- Arianna Huffington writes about torture during the Bush administration:
"...Bush and company didn't mean to illegally torture prisoners at Gitmo - they simply "forgot" torture was illegal. They didn't mean to trample civil rights - they simply "forgot" about the Constitution. They didn't gin up phony intel to hype us into war - they simply "forgot" that WMD had to be real..."
Ms. Huffington should be happy today, to find that the US government has switched to giving the enemy- drugs.
And it might work better:
Picture this: You are an Afghan farmer. You are tired from growing poppies all day, harvesting you heroin.
You come home and all 4 of your wives give you that glowing smile. You know, that little "wink" and nod that tells you that SEX is going to take place.
Maybe you can handle one, possibly two of your wives. (If the weather is just right). BUT ALL FOUR..??
Along comes the US military with a truck load of Viagra. (Just in the nick of time.)

Hey, what heroin growing, gun toting, Afghan rebel wouldn't want drugs..??
And best of all, this should satisfy the "Obama" crowd.

The left is all in favor of drugs.
Because we all know that if drugs were legal, we would have less crime.
Except...
If this were true...
Why would Amsterdam be shutting down some of it's marijuana coffee houses?
Amsterdam- the place most often cited by liberals as an example of a liberal society; where drugs are "cool" and sex is for sale. Where medical help is FREE, and you need not worry about a thing.
A paradise.

Except, that crime was getting out of hand because of all the drugs and uncontrolled behavior. So the government has to do something. They are shutting down some of the sex shops and drug "coffee shops."
What does this all have to do with our friendly, heroin growing Afghan farmer (with 4 horny wives)..??
We need intelligence to win these wars..!!

I do not care if we use Viagra, or pour a bucket of water on a guy's head, or we play loud rock music. We need information on our enemy.
How did we find out where Saddam was hiding..??
How were we able to locate the exact hole in the ground that Saddam was living in..??
You guessed it.
We politely told a fellow that he would DIE if he didn't reveal where Saddam was. (And guess what?) He told us. And the guy didn't die because we do not torture people. We just scare them a little. (With loud rock music, water on the head, and now Viagra.)
War is hell.
We need to be united to win these wars.

No one ever won a war by dying for his country.
You win a war by making the other dumb bastard die for his (country.) Gen. Patton.

WE COULD HAVE…
Every TV channel is sending their News Anchors overseas to broadcast Barack Obama setting foot on foreign soil.
This didn’t happen when President Bush last traveled overseas.
When John McCain ventured to Afghanistan and Iraq, maybe you saw some stock video footage of McCain walking and talking. However, the TV News teams did not send their “top dogs” to cover McCain’s visit.
Why so much attention on this visit overseas from Obama..??

Because this is the first time that a “Black Man” has visited Europe.

I am trying to figure out why so much attention on one man traveling to Europe..??
John Kerry, who is also a democrat, traveled overseas and did not get this kind of attention. Kerry, McCain, and President Bush all share something in common; they are “White.” So party affiliation has nothing to do with it.
It MUST be about skin color..!!
People in Europe have never seen a “Black Man” before, so this is an historic visit of a “Black Man” traveling to Europe. Therefore, we must send all of the TV News anchors to cover this monumental event..!!
Except…
Reverend Jesse Jackson, (who by the way, is also Black, and also ran for president) traveled overseas and did not get this kind of treatment. Jackson was lucky if a small child captured his arrival on a home video camera.
So maybe it has nothing to do with “the first Black Man traveling to Europe.”
Could it be that “BIG Media” is actually pushing for a “President Obama”..??
This just can’t be…
I can’t believe this to be true..!!
Remember how angry Liberals get when they think that “BIG Oil” has any influence on republicans..??
So liberals WOULD NOT tolerate “BIG Media” pushing an American political candidate?
Would they..??
I must conclude that Liberals are watching “BIG Media” the same way that they watch “BIG Oil” and no “monkey business” is taking place here.
Because if there was some “monkey business” going on, our liberal “watch dog” friends would report about “BIG Media” pushing a particular political candidate.
So what could it be..??
Why would every national TV channel send it’s top people to cover Barack Obama landing in foreign countries..??
Why would every News channel need to cover Barack Obama setting his foot on foreign soil, when they did NOT do this for Bush, Kerry, Jesse Jackson, or John McCain?

Could it be that every News producer in the business is infatuated with Barack Obama and his “WE COULD HAVE” speech..??
You remember Obama’s “WE COULD HAVE” speech, that he delivered this past Monday?
I am paraphrasing because I do not have a copy of it here handy. (And the Obama people keep changing the Obama Web Site to match current poll results.)
Obama’s speech went something like this:
The famous “WE COULD HAVE” speech, by Barack Obama.
“WE COULD HAVE” paid higher taxes and helped the poor people. People like that homeless man that I stepped over to get into my SUV.

“WE COULD HAVE” stayed in Afghanistan instead of invading Iraq. Then we would be fighting the full strength of al Qaeda in Afghanistan- a country with mountainous terrain that bogged down the Mighty Soviet Empire for eight years. Instead of fighting al Qaeda in Iraq- a flat country in which you can use tanks, trucks, and other modern equipment.
“WE COULD HAVE” hidden in the grassy knoll in 1963 and then we would know who really shot JFK.
“WE COULD HAVE” stopped our friend from eating that greasy bean burrito, and he wouldn’t have puked in our car Saturday night.
“WE COULD HAVE” invested in alternative energy so we wouldn’t be so dependant on foreign oil. (Duhhh)
“WE COULD HAVE” invested in Microsoft when Bill Gates was just starting out. Today we would be filthy rich and I, President Obama, could tax the crap out of all of us.
“WE COULD HAVE” stayed in the Senate a few more years and gain some experience.

Obama’s national government experience- 143 DAYS in the senate. (Then he started running for president.)
McCain’s national government experience- 20 years, plus almost two decades in the military.
“WE COULD HAVE” captured Osama bin Laden in Sudan when the government had him held at the border. Then 9/11wouldn’t have happened, and we wouldn’t be HERE right now. Instead, President Clinton told Sudan to let bin Laden go free.
I believe that is how the famous- Obama: “WE COULD HAVE” speech went. (A couple of those lines might not be totally correct. Remember that I am going from memory.)
Maybe the American TV News teams are on to something..??
Maybe the Europeans will love Barack Obama and his “WE COULD HAVE” speech?
I can just picture it now…
Obama, (standing somewhere in Europe) pick a place. Delivering the famous “WE COULD HAVE” speech…
“WE COULD HAVE” known that the colonists would start a revolution. (English, French, and Spanish colonists) We could have placed more soldiers in the New World to stop this revolution and today we would be getting tax money from America, Canada, and Mexico. Money we could use here in Britain, France, and Spain.
“WE COULD HAVE” known that the “Moops” would invade our land. We could have stopped the “Moops” in their tracks.

Oh, yes…
Obama could be a HIT in Europe.
Maybe we need to call Dan Rather. He needs to pack his bags and get on the next fight overseas.

This is big, people…
“WE COULD HAVE” stopped Hitler and also WW1. “WE COULD HAVE” stopped the creation of the gasoline engine and saved the earth. “WE COULD HAVE” stopped that crazy Monk and his Spanish Inquisition."
“WE COULD HAVE…”

Purging the Republican Party
This is an editorial that I never wanted to write.

I truly believe that having John McCain as president is better than the other two choices.
However, I look to the right of me and see conservatives claiming they will NEVER vote for John McCain.
When I look to the left, I am NOT seeing wacky liberals with some far out plan for the future of America. I see John McCain proposing global warming laws and wanting to build government programs.
I am a conservative, but somehow I am stuck in the middle?
Stuck somewhere between John McCain and President Reagan. My only goal with this web site was to promote conservative ideas and warn of the dangers of socialism.

I have been picking on Barack Obama, and will continue to point out his opinions because I believe Obama is the most dangerous man in America. He is the most liberal senator in DC. He has the most socialistic ideas of any of the candidates running, and people in Washington DC are afraid to oppose him. Having fear that they could be called "racist."
Hillary has done her best, but she cannot win. My party is in no shape to win against Barack Obama. I'm not really sure that conservatives want McCain to win.
Peggy Noonan, from the Wall Street Journal, says it best.
She wrote an editorial about the situation within the republican party. Noonan tells us that the chairman of the RNC- Robert Duncan, said- "We can't let the democrats take our issues. We can't let them pretend to be conservative.."
Peggy Noonan writes: "..Why not? Republicans ACT like conservatives everyday.."
In one sentence, Peggy Noonan has described the problem within the republican party.
Republicans feel the only way to win this election is to explore some of the liberal issues of the day. Conservatives do not want to win that way and would rather lose.
I have been avoiding this post for some time...
Maybe it is time for the Republican Party to be purged..??

I became a conservative because I believe it is the perfect place between the two big "L's". (Liberalism and Libertarianism.)
Liberals today, want the government to control medicine. They want the government to control what car you can drive and how warm or cold your house can be. Like the American people are children and big daddy government must force you to conserve. (As if the high cost of fuel isn't forcing you to conserve already.)

Libertarians want to CUT EVERYTHING and head back to 1886. How do you tell a young person, who has paid thousands into Social Security, that you are shutting it down. "Sorry about your luck, pal..!!" How do you tell the millions of government workers- "We are shutting down, go find a job in the private sector."
Conservatives have always been there to fix the social programs that liberals create and then liberals abandon- when things go wrong. (Welfare, Social Security, and the future National Health Plan.) Conservatives usually kept taxes lower and spending under control. This is why I have been a conservative since 1980.
But something is wrong this time out?
I have been avoiding this post for some time...
Maybe it is time for the Republican Party to be purged..??
I have listened to some conservatives talk about a "purging of the Republican Party" and they sound gleeful about the prospect.
Sure, once we have weeded out all of the "democratic light" people from our party we will be back to basics. But the road to that goal is a bumpy ride.
We will lose more seats in the house and senate. We will not be able to stop the wacky left wing ideas that will pass by congress.

We will not be able to pick judicial nominees for 4 or 8 years.
We will lose the White House.

It is not going to be easy, however I have always tried to be optimistic about the future. I feel we can find some positives in this situation.
Here is a list that may help you cope with America's political future:
Good things about an Obama presidency.
No matter what Obama does, everyone in Europe will be too afraid to say anything bad President Obama, in fear that they may offend the "political correct" Gods.
Magically, without Obama signing any bill, global warming and the health care crisis will disappear. (Remember how the "homeless crisis" and the "health care crisis" of 1993 went away without President Clinton lifting a pen to sign anything..??)
Liberals will tune out of politics with a President Obama. They will again love their country. All of the "cut and paste" stories of how mean US soldiers are, how evil America is, and how terrible all of us are to the environment, to other people, etc- these stories will all go away.
How much fun it will be watching late night comics "walk on eggs" while trying to make a joke about President Obama." David Letterman, Jay Leno, Saturday Night Live, Jon Stewart, etc- all use tons of political humor. However, all of these comedians are stuck inside a politically correct box when it comes to White and Black issues. Maybe they will all stick to the safe- "Bush is stupid" and "Clinton is a pervert" type humor. (No one is offended when you make fun of a White man.)
We will have 4 years of "Obama-isms." (Things Obama can say, but no other person can.) Like when Obama thought the United States had 57 states. (If Bush said that, people would be all over it.)
You will be able to bet on whether today will be a "flag pin day." Remember, Obama only wears his flag pin on special days. If Obama is speaking in San Francisco, you will not see a flag pin. However, if Obama is speaking to blue collar people in Michigan, you will see Obama's flag pin. In the future, with a President Obama, you will be able to head to InTrade and bet on whether Obama will wear his flag pin during speeches. (For example: if there is a tragedy in West Virginia and President Obama is heading there to speak, you have a 70% chance that Obama will wear his flag pin. Betting against the odds could make you some serious buck..!!"
With a President Obama, liberals will not be able to blame everything on Republicans- Hurricanes, tornados, high food costs, wild fires, high gas prices, etc...
OK, that last one was a joke.
We all know that liberals will still blame republicans for everything, even when they control the Congress and the White House.

Sen. Ted Kennedy is rushed to a Cape Cod hospital. I have no details while writing this. I hope Kennedy will be OK..!! ABC News has that story.

Sea weed and algae could be made into bio-fuel. Which would not compete with food crops. Instapundit (dot) com has that story.
"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." — Mark Twain (1835-1910).
The WRIGHT to destroy a candidate
Quote from Rev. Wright:
"..(Obama) says what he has to say as a politician.."
(Hmmm. That sounds like a hidden agenda. Doesn't it.?)

I wonder what else Obama has been saying that may not necessarily be true? Things he is saying, "just because he is a politician?"
Obama had this to say:
"When it came time to stand up against the oil companies, to stand against Dick Cheney's energy bill, my opponent voted for it and I voted against it," Obama said. And he continued- "And that bill had billions of dollars in giveaways to the oil companies. It was the best bill that the energy companies could buy."
Actually, the bill that Obama voted against RAISED taxes on the oil companies by 300 million over a period of years.
You have, of course, heard that Obama is against removing the federal gas tax for this summer. McCain is for it. Rush Limbaugh has been suggesting it for some time now. Even Hillary might sign on to it. Many in congress think it is a great "short term" idea. Removing the federal tax from gas could really help Americans over the 3 summer months.
Let's back up and review this information…
Obama voted against the 2005-energy bill that would raise taxes on oil companies.
Obama is against cutting the federal gas tax this summer to help poor Americans pay for high fuel costs.
This doesn't sound like a guy who has "the peoples" interests in mind?
Obama claims he is the only candidate running who doesn't except money from oil companies. "..Obama, it is against the law for ANY candidate to except money from oil companies.." Besides, Obama has received money from people who work for oil companies. The same as Hillary and McCain; donations in the legal amount.
So, why does Obama say these things..??
But the bigger question might be…
Why do people believe him and trust what he is saying as the truth..??
Because they have to.

Liberals are so invested in Obama, there is no turning back now. They finally, after YEARS of listening to how bad the Clinton's were, now believe us on that. These folks feel they can't vote republican. They have no choice. They must defend Obama no matter what the guy says or does.
This is why I am so glad that I am a conservative. We can openly talk about our candidate. We can point out his good points and bad. We do not have to hide or cover up the weakness McCain has.
On the left, they spent years trying to pretend that some "right wing political machine" brought on all the problems that the Clinton's had. But only now are they seeing what the Clinton's are really like.
For people on the left, they cannot ask questions about Obama. Like baby birds, these liberals would be kicked out of the nest if they asked tough questions of Obama. YOU CAN'T DO THAT..!!
For if you dare challenge Obama. You are not liberal. You are a racist.

You folks on the left have no free speech. How easily, you folks on the left, give up free speech- scares me!
Here on the right side, I could one day ask readers: "What's so bad about John McCain? Let's look at President Reagan's record.."
I can write an editorial like that, when McCain IS NOT POPULAR, and no one kicks me out of the conservative movement. The next week I could spend time talking about how McCain pisses me off.
Here on the right; I could challenge global warming. Or I could enter the movement to voice my side of it like Newt Gingrich.

Conservatives can debate topics like "Darwinism."

You will find nothing like that on the left. You MUST comply FULLY on every idea that the left has adopted, or you do not belong. There is no debate.
We have free speech here on the "right side." We can talk about anything.
On the liberal front, with blinders firmly in place: "Don't you dare ask Obama any of those tough questions.." Obama is above all those stupid questions like: What he voted on- Obama voted to suspend the Illinois state gas tax, but Obama doesn't want to suspend the federal gas tax..??
Don't ask Obama about past friends...
Don't ask Obama about his Reverend...
Just sit there with your blinders on and do not speak.
(Chanting "Obama, Obama" is acceptable. But only if Obama is NOT speaking.)
Well, at least you will not have to BUY a new pair of blinders to shade you from the Obama truths. You can use the same blinders that you wore for years with the Clinton's.
With Obama appearing on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace later today, you folks on the left might need a blindfold and ear plugs.
(Or better yet, just blame republicans for anything said by Obama. That always works for you guys.)
I thought democrats were not going to appear on Fox News..?? What happened..??
Maybe, in the middle of all this mess, the Reverend Wright explained Obama better than anyone else has:
"..(Obama) says what he has to say as a politician.."
Yes…
Obama is NOT a God.
Obama is human.
And if Obama is human, we can beat him.
You folks on the left need to deal with Rev Wright. He is the one man that will destroy Obama.

Maybe giving Wright a million-dollar mansion and 10 million in cash WASN'T ENOUGH.
You might have to dig deeper into the wallet. He likes the spotlight.
(And I like Rev Wright in the spotlight..!!)
See.. again..
People on the right enjoy free speech.

(Things Obama can say. But you or I would be fired if we said the same thing.)

Obama-isms are a neat thing and a great gift held by one man.
Only Obama could ever say some of these things.
For example:
If I said: "..Obama is a 'typical Black man', he fears people who are not like him.."
I would be run out of town. I would be called a racist and I would be threatened.
However, Obama can say these things with ease.
Obama claims that getting pregnant is like a punishment, in the lines of getting a sexually transmitted disease.
No one on the left, nor many in the media condemned this statement of Obama's, so I must assume that many democrats also view a "baby" as punishment.
Obama believes people in small towns are "bitter." Obama believes that we are so "bitter" that we "cling to our guns and religion", (like a bunch of Hillbillies) and we take this "bitterness" out on immigrants and people who are not like us.
Obama, we are not "bitter."
In fact, the folks in Pennsylvania believed in the 2nd Amendment and we respected "freedom of religion" long before Illinois became a State in the Union.
So, in honor of the many "Obama-isms" that have been created by Obama thus far. (Just think about how many more are to come. We have 6 months until the general election.)
We have a collection of "Obama-isms" set to bumper stickers. Ready for you to cut and paste to "sticky paper" and place around town.

Normally, (being a self- absorbed capitalist) I would sell these bumper stickers to Flea Market vendors and T-shirt shops. However, since I am a "typical BITTER White person" from Pennsylvania, I thought I would give them away.
(How to make a bumper sticker)
I have made these stickers "easy to steal." Just (right click) your mouse over the sticker. A menu should appear asking if you want to "save the picture." Click that. Save as a "Jpeg image" and give it a file name.
At this point, you should be able to "insert" the sticker in Microsoft Word, or any printable program. You should also be able to expand the sticker to a larger size by "clicking the image" and pulling it bigger.
You will now need "sticky paper." You can buy it at Wal- Mart, or Staples, etc. Usually called "label paper," it fits into your printer. (Do not buy small, pre-cut labels. Buy full sheet- label paper.)
Congratulations..!!
You are now in the Bumper sticker business. Have fun..!!
(Though, I wouldn't recommend placing any of these stickers on a liberal democrat's car. That would be a mean thing to do.)
Obama- mania continues with more Obama-isms Obama said this: "…You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them…" Aaahh, Obama… We have jobs here in Pennsylvania. We are not standing in the soup lines waiting for YOU to save us. What the hell are you talking about? You better start talking to us… Instead of talking "down" to us. Obama continues… "…And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. So it's not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations…" You have just got to love this..!! Obama had several great speeches early on that were well written, well rehearsed, and very well delivered.

However, out on the campaign trail, he is falling on his face. Obama cannot string several sentences together without insulting someone.
Hillary has a slight lead here in Pennsylvania. However, when this latest "Obama-ism" gets around to folks here in Pennsylvania, we are not going to take too kindly to it.
Being called a "gun carrying, Bible thumping person who is out of work. Looking for the government to save us. And because we are "so bitter", we cannot tolerate anyone else (of a different color..??)
Obama- you might want to cover your ears. What I am about to say isn't pretty.
Pennsylvania is called the "State of Independence." This is where it all started, Bubba. This dream of freedom didn't start in Chicago; it didn't originate in Los Angeles. It started in Philadelphia. Pennsylvania has two major, world- class cities with people of all color living side by side. It's been that way for hundreds of years.
In the middle, Pennsylvania has hard working people..
Oh yes, Obama. We have jobs. We work.
These people get more work done in one growing season, than Obama will in a lifetime.
Some of us own guns. Some do not.
Some of us believe in God. Some do not.
Some of us folks in Pennsylvania are republicans. Some are democrats.
But one thing we are NOT, is racist.
Pennsylvania has tunnels and old houses that were part of the "Underground Railroad", in which many of our great-grand parents tried to help slaves become free.
Don't you ever come to my state and call the people of Pennsylvania "racist."
Obama, why don't you visit Gettysburg? How many young farmers from Pennsylvania lost their lives on that bloody battlefield? Tens of thousands of young men died there, so that all men could be free. I will set up a tour for you, Obama. We have tours of Gettysburg going on right now.
In conclusion, Mr. Obama, the only racist I have seen in the past couple of weeks has been your preacher.
I still haven't received any kind of apology from you.
In the future, please refrain from calling the people of Pennsylvania- "gun carrying racists."
Let's drop the stereo types.
I have never called you a "crook from Chicago."

Thanks to "Hot Air" and "Right Wing News" for the Obama poster.
